How do I get started with bookr.au?

Can I customise the booking notifications + reminders?
Yes — you can control email and (if enabled) SMS notification text that your customers receive. You can include placeholders (for appointment time, client name, etc.).
How do I change or reschedule a booking?
You can move a booking to another available slot. Once changed, the system can notify the client automatically if that’s enabled.
How do clients make bookings?
Clients can:
- Select a service
- Pick a date and time from available slots
- Optionally choose staff or resource (if your business uses multiple resources)
- Enter their contact information
- Pay (if payment is required at booking) or be sent an invoice
Do clients need to register to book?
No, clients can book as “guests” (no full registration). However, you may require certain fields (e.g. email, phone) or optional verification (email confirmation) depending on your settings.
Can I accept payments through bookr?
Yes — you can accept credit card payments, vouchers, or issue invoices. When making a booking, you can either:
- Send the client an invoice (with a “Pay Now” button)
- Process payment on behalf of the client
Can I manage multiple staff, rooms or resources??
Yes. You can add resources (employees, rooms, equipment) and assign them to appointment types. You can also allow clients to select a resource, or have the system assign one automatically.
